In the morning, Salty was already gone so me and Oota-kun decided to head out together to check out the Himeji Castle area. There was a lot of people out and the weather was nice. Even thought the castle was under construction, it didn't stop the people from coming out and enjoying the cherry blossoms. Oota-kun and I talked about all kinds of things; I was very impressed with him. He is so mature for being 16 year old, and very unique…he has his own mind and he speaks it which I like. We walked around the arcade for a bit and I decided I needed sunblock so I stopped by the drug store. I couldn't believe how expensive it was! For a tiny palm sized bottle it cost 500 yen...against better judgement I bought it because I was starting to get tanned pretty good.

We returned to the guest house and packed up our stuff. We walked together towards Himeji Station. We parted ways once we were at the station, and once again I was glad to have met such an interesting guy. From Himeji I headed towards Kobe where I was going to stay with my buddy Atsushi’s parents. It was mostly through towns and so it took some time. All the stop and go and hitting lights everytime I started speeding up really wears you out. I ate takoyaki on the way since I was in Kobe after all! It was delicious, and I washed it all down with a can of cola as they call it here, not coke. It started to get cold by the time I arrived to Atsushi's parent's house. It was so great to be able to see them again since it's been a few years...actually it was Atsushi's wedding in Tokyo Disney last time we met. I was spoiled as soon as I got there and it felt good to be with family once again.
